applause from heaven.
loser me went to sleep before midnight yesternight. was really tired lah.
but i really love this saturday, has been a long time since i went home with head halfway in the clouds, extremely tired but contented and happy.
early in the morning, met up with rachel(fong) to have breakfast and visit club21@ cinne to fix her ipod. apple rocks, because they are rich to just replace pple with new ipod whenever we crack ours. and due to their efficiency, we ended kinda early and went ard the place too ogle at all the macbooks, ipod accessories etc. then went to heeren, where we encountered the lamest toilet ever. lets see, we went down to the basement, and headed towards the "wall" with the loo sign, then to our surprise, it slided open. oh, so that was the door. woah! must be some grand toilet. after pushing our way into the heavy ladies door, we were greeted with... 2 cubicles - -" which is so lame right. then after we did our stuffs, we wanted to wash hand. but the tap spoil or smth. its auto sensor kind, and the water refuses to come out! so we laughed, and went to the handicapped toilet with the normal tap to wash hand after accidentally banging the door too hard. - -" dots. (okay, spent too many lines for the lameloo)
so we walked to nexus. service was really good. was very ^^ when we were singing till i see you. it was a time of personal worship, reminded of the compassion for every single person. i guess recently, i have been such a blockhead. (this sorts of remind me of the guy
in cavestory. he's that flying block there)
anw, my point is that.. i have been blinded by much faithlessness and thinking too much, to believe and embrace this harvest season. too caught up with thinking abt the details and in our capability than to see God's ability in the whole thing. but now my eyes r opened again :D
hmm, had zion@ istana after service. (what a name...- -") had some fun playing those games :D kind of nostlagic. played one the games at this particular mcg called escape! @ qiao's condo. after that and watching petetong and zhicai do indian dance with the pillar, we went separate ways to makan.
finally decided to go to the harvester's meeting and not head home. never ever regretted this.(except the ex ex ex cab fee) it's like... passion week, esp since they used the same slide bckgrds, lol. was really glad to hear all the testimonies from the diff pple, the minops one was really funny. and of course, zion one lah :D

it's not the mere sentence that warmed all the hearts there that night, but because it's true. and i thank God for all these hardworking people.. many times i just look at myself and whine abt being tired, fact is, there r many tired pple, esp the leaders above us.. but yeah, cliche as it is "it's all worth it in the end"
sometimes, Hope makes me feel like a teary grandma, slumping in a rocking chair and sighing with much peace and joy. hahahaaaa.

past happenings.
my internet is functioning normally! i can blog!
What has been happening for the past few days:
(a pretty mundane entry, its for me to keep track lah)
MONDAY
due to pete's mia-ness, I dont have photos!
WANTED: petetong and photos.
REWARD: in heaven
But anw spent Christmas meaningfully with God's people and a great team, the zioncore. Early in the morning, yihui met the cls then we had a mini discussion @ tcc. Woah, their sunny side up is nice man (so nice we gulped it all down w.o taking photos)
Soon, everyone came and we went to newyork newyork for lunch. Food was so-so :/ due to their limited Christmas menu T_T cheaterbugs.
Dissatisfied, we went to marina square in search of desserts. Walked around and met huiying, jiayi, daniel leow and a mm guy (haha, I dont knw him) eating at hans so we went in to say hi. Then, saw someone at the next table waving. Its my sis n broinlaw, what a small world.
Went to Andersens icecream and ate. Had fun kopping one another's flavours…
Realised that the ambience there kind of cannot make it and left for Esplanade! Was chatting happily and playing truth or truth at the roof terrace when it rained :/ so we re-settled on the first level.
Enjoyed asking interesting question and having everyone to answer like “what qualities do you want in yr future spouse?", “what is yr greatest fear?” that kind of qns…
And ..

oh yah, went out with pamela!
had a duper fun time choosing and browsing through journals/schedule books for 2007. she was so suaku and adorable, ^^
we did that for a few hours, no kidding. but it was fun time spent.

oh! went to sr macs for yihui's meeting in the morn.

ate and chat and discuss then digress and discuss again. woah, from like 11-3.
left for home to do ycom design. did until finish then realised internet was down T_T
THURSDAY
met early with the cg and watched little man at kar's aunt's hse. what a pipipapipu show.. this is a cg of lasts, kinda high yet somewhat sad. mixed emotions i guess. dont feel like gg into details.

(sounds like im transferring, nopes, im not lah.)
after lying around and affirming for very long, we ended and left the place.
tian and i went to RC, was greeted by the excited shouts of pple playing dead or alive on xbox. had a go at it, i kinda suck. prefer king of fighters, nostlagic lah.. but, woah, one game machine, added so much noise to RC.
after awhile, cabbed to clarkequay with rachel, yihui and tian for Ycom retreat xD sat ard and ate (chocolate biscuit) bears in the mrt station while waiting for the rest to come. went to eat at a hawkercentre near chinatown pt before heading down to settler's cafe (:
had 2 noisy games of I AM THE BOSS with pple like yihui,benwai,shiwei (is this how u spell?:/) ,claire,derrick. its really funny, cause they r all writers and all dare to speak up one lah. the other pple were playing spastic but looks very fun games. ended the night with a game of taboo. writers and "others" tie, haha! enjoying ycom more and more..
TODAY!
met gigi @ amk macs for breakfast and chitchat session before following him to the new amk mall and its newly opened ntucEXTRA, to think i was laughing at the ushers ushering aunties and uncles into the place and there was like a queue lah. i became one of them after breakfast. the whole place is just carrefour with another name and much more kiasu deals.. anw the basement has gogofranks w their prata hotdog :X
after that, met up with peng and all three of us went to eat seoul garden! students price is ard 13, shiokness. it's my first time @ seoul, somehow lah, miss all the opps to go. ate until im really full and happy, then we all left for pm.
feel filled today. not just my stomach. spirit too.

i cant blv the hols is ending. no more sleeping at unearthly hours, slacking and doing nth (which i dont enjoy actually),
a new year, a new environment, new ministry directions.
i feel really old, esp talking to p6 pple stepping into a new sch at sec1. omg, halfway through youth already..
these 4 years, like what xin's card wrote "not too long, not very short either"...
been a great life station, where i made friends tt i want to keep, where i know God.. all these.
but chop, chop, time to move on,
a greater 2007.
really want to lead an eventful life where i can look back and smile at, with much joyous and glad moments.

eve
not a very nice collage thing. :/
had a good christmas eve. met up with huishan, renying and cixin at cityhall and walked ard citylink, and headed for marina sq. gosh, this hols im @ citylink for so many many times, and im gg thr tml again :/
after much whining and debating, we decided on thai express. so we went there and eat, uh, this pt in time, too lazy so nv shoot any picts. i love their pineapple rice :X
after gobbling our food down, the happy gluttons headed to swensens. anw, the swensens at marina sq kinda nice, quiet and away from the shops. ate and chatted. haha, this waitress serving us got very panicky cause she forgot abt huishan's topping. she ate this make-your-own-sundae thingy then the names of the icecream and toppings super luan lah. so we paid extra 40cents, lol.
so they got very cold. and they claimed im not cold cause i ate hot fudge, and huishan ate cold fudge. yah, there is such a thing. its just.. cold.. hotfudge --" anw, marinasq is exceptionally cold. and we visited the loo like 4 times the whole afternn.
to ease the coldness, went shopping :/ awhile lah. and i decided, out of the blue to cut hair. got a haircut @ chapter2. the service was quite good but i think my fringe kinda short now. but well, hair grows :D
jasm then joined us. she wanted to eat... swensens, so we headed back. LOL. the waitress was terrorised by us, maybe she thinks we wana make trouble. lol. this time only a particular glutton glutton (hehehehehe) and jasm ate. more chatting..
then its time to go home T_T we met ber @ citylink to have gifts exchange. anw, we kind of look v gay hugging in citylink.. so we went separate ways, cause me n huishan got to go home. the rest headed back to play bowling! ):
and on the train..... me and huishan were TERRORISED. this is traumatic. there were two indian men hugging... they hug and hug. and i thought we looked gay hugging... but i suspect that they are drunk. but still, extremely unsightly. >_<
this is my interesting christmas eve. simply going out, but with special people.

xmas service.
initially when i stepped out of the train at somerset, i was kind of stunned. zionites look mismatched on our own, lol. some people look really well dressed then some look v casual also. lol.
anw we headed to cinne foodcourt for lunch and boy, their food suck :/
sharon and emily had some dessert that taste like toothpaste..
so we just swallowed down food amidst running around and giving out christmas cards..
everyone then headed to the busstop and the bus journey was kind of interesting. met freedy and the nec pple when they boarded at douby.

service was enjoyable.
applaud the entire production team. woah, the giraffe ah, the giraffe is.. *salutes, uber cool lah. the multimedia and the video really added much life to the story also.. :D i like bigscale production. would be fun to be part of the team..
anw, after serv, more screaming for people and rushed cards giving out, then had to leave for home T_T while the rest of the northeast pple go for xmas party.. stoned for 20-30minutes @ the busstop cause the buses were packed w sardines. anw the central bros gave up their cab for us. thankyou!!! (not tt they will see this. but anw) so we had to pangseh james, so sorry, and emily, sharon, tracie and me went to suntec.
got pretzels and drinks and began the long journey home.. had a good chat with all of them on the train ride :D

cards
woah, christmas cards frenzy.
this yr christmas really very slack, in terms of preparation, shopping etc... and really no christmas mood, which is so sad/sian.
buay tahan already, got to chiong in the morning then. zzz.

ppft.
the morning started somewhat peaceful and i was so happy, then it became chaotic.
i hate chaotic mornings.
had brunch with rachfong and jonquek at j8 foodcourt. oh gosh, im depressed. i totally love their duck noodles and minipotnoodle and those two stalls are replaced by some ppfffft stalls.. :/ there is no reason to eat at the foodcourt anymore, boo. but oh, pepperlunch went to join them too. it's cheaper in the foodcourt than pepperlunch restaurants..
went for street evax. met lun and his guys along the way.
had my first three souls saved with yining, yeongdeng and emily.
rachel shared with these two pri6 girls and they were really sincere and after accepting Christ, in another tens of mins, they found the rest of their friends and made us share to them. wow, starbursting on the spot. prolly one of the most successful sessions yet, today..
phonecall midway thru evax totally stunned me. apparently, things aren't that bad. why else can i sit here and blog happily.
while the zionites go and cartel, rachel (fong) and i went to orchard w my guitar. had dunch? (lunch + dinner?) at macs. or rather, ian ate his macs, rach and i savour our sausage prata roll. (it's sausage wrapped in prata, NOT prata with sausage bits)
apparently the bridge cant be filed... anw thanks ian, at least now my guit can use. so midway through his fixing and playing outside ngeeann, some french guy came and they talked.. musicians flock tgt? yining came and after doing some christmas window shop, went home.
still cannot get used to such an early curfew :/
probably cannot make it out tml, cant pick pamela up from airport. im sorry, dear :/
